Chicago White Sox

The White Soxs are founded in Chicago in 1901. They won the World Seiries for 3 times. Their Combat success was very good in 2005 when they beat the Astors 4-0 and got the the World Seiries cup, the first the White Soxs since 1917. But then they began to go downhill, first their No.1 pitcher Jon Garland and Freddy Garcia getting very bad, then the MVP of the 2005 World Seiries, Jermaine Dye was ingured and his good batting averge record (0.315) drop to a very disoppointing record(0.254) for a player whos salery is so high. This year their Combat sucess is vert bad, Contorlas and Dye going downhill and Garland traded to the Phillies. The only exiting thing for the White Soxs this year is that Jim Thome hit his 500th homer in his career.

Cleveland Indians

The Indians are founded in 1901 as the Clevland Blues. This year the Indians lose in the AL championship to the Red Sox . They fought bravly, they first scrape a 3-1 record. But the Red Sox is an old team which has got into the World Sieries for alot of times so the Indians lose in the end. They still have some famous players like: Al Lopez and Eddie
Murray. Now they have a good player Grady Sizemore who is the player pitchers hated most to face because he is good at choosing balls to hit and his speed is really fast, he is also good at hitting hits with RBIs. This year the Indians has had a great scseed in trading players. They signed Japan's best saving pitcher: Masahide Kobayashi.

Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays change their name from Devil Rays to Rays and it's logo only this fall. They are a pretty young team, they are based in 1998 so it's only based for 9 years. Though they don't have a good record, they are improving greatly. They don't have many famous players, but they have many young players that plays very well. They are famous for their player's speed is so fast. There's a good batter in the Rays, that is their forth bat Pena. In the last season, Pena hit 46 homers and batted in 121 points, that's only second to A-Rod in the AL. With these two players as example, we can conclud that this team will have a good future and produce good players.

Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles are based in Milwaukee in 1901, then in 1902 they move to St. Louis and changed name to the Browns. They got the World Seiries cup for 3 times. They produeced good players like FrankRobinson and CalRipken, Jr. When they are still named the Browns, they have many famous players in the team , but they don't have enough money to keep the great players so the key players keep going to other teams, and now the Orioles' hitting is very bad indead. Now they are trying to use speed to beat the other teams, for their first bat Brian Roberts is very fast. The key players now is Kevin Millar. Then Tejada who was one of the key players on the team has been traded away and the teams batting will be worse than ever. Now thet have become a bad team in the MLB.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays are formed in 1977. They don't have a long history like the Yankees, but they won the World Seiries twice. They are also the only team in MLB that is not in the U.S. They now have Roy Halladay as ace pitcher and a good batter Alex Rios who has been named one of the 50 best hitters now. They produce only three players who is voted into the Baseball Hall and Fame: Phil Niekro, Dave Winfield and Paul Molitor, but they produece a outstanding player: Jackie Robinson. The Blue Jays are now trying to train a number of young players like Dustin McGowan to try getting into the World Seiries. It has been a long time since the Blue Jays get into the Playoffs not to mention 14 yaers without the World Seiries cup.

Boston Redsox

The Red Sox are one of the oldest teams in MLB. They are a legendary team for beating the New York Yankees in 2004's playoffs when they lose 3 games in a row, but then win 4 games in a row and get into the World Series .They are the first team in history ever to do that. Thy pordued outstanding players like Cy Young, Ted Williams and Babe Ruth. Ruth is sold to the Yankees and people say that he start the Babe Ruth Curse, which prevent the Red Sox from getting the World Series cup for 86 years in a row. These years the Red Sox trade in many good players like Daisuke Matsuzaka, Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell.The Red Soxs are still one of the best teams in MLB.

New York Yankees

The New York Yankees are one of the oldest teams in MLB. It is once called the New York Giants and Highlanders, they start the team in Baltimore, not in New York as they are named now. They are the most populer team in MLB and one of the best. This team porduce many outstanding players like Lou Gehirg and Joe DiMaggio.But now the Yankees is facing a big problem that their players are getting older and the new players are not good enough, and now Torre who is very populer in the Yankees refuse to be manager anymore. This is the problem the Yankees are facing.
